Lazer Engraving Illustrator Art.

The Lazer cutter has found its way into the home and make a great tool for creating unique pieces of art.  For this activity you will design an image to be lazer engraved onto an object.  Example could include coaster, ornaments.  

Research more example by looking up lazer engraving or Glowforge examples.

STEP 1:  Figure out what you want to make,  ornament, coaster, etc.

STEP 2: sketch a design, message to place on the object.

STEP 3:  Create the design in Illustrator.   The Glowforge will convert the image into engraving but you need to think about positive and negative space as you create the object.

STEP 4:  Talk to the teacher about creating the object.

Submit:   Sketches (5pts),   Illustrator design  (20pts),  Reflection (5pts)
