What to submit? Avatars

• Picture of yourself uploaded to Adobe Express
• Illustrator Avatar (saved as .png)  sided by side with photo (photo grid) on Adobe Express 
•  Post your reflection in your portfolio on what you learned, what was difficult, and what was easy.  (see prompts below) 
  
• Updated link to Express Page inserted on Moodle
• Submit a pdf of your artwork to Moodle.

Reflection Prompts:

• What artistic style did you choose for your avatar (cartoon, semi-realistic, or self-portrait), and why did you select that approach?

• How did you use basic shapes to build the structure of your avatar, and what techniques helped refine the details?

• Which Illustrator tools (shape builder, pencil tool, eyedropper, etc.) were most useful in creating your avatar, and how did they enhance your design?

• How did you use color choices and shading to add depth and personality to your avatar?

• What challenges did you encounter while simplifying or stylizing facial features, and how did you overcome them?

• If you could improve or change one aspect of your avatar design, what would it be and why?
