What to Submit?


1. Convert your artwork into a .png and a .pdf

2. Insert the .png into your portfolio on Adobe Express

3. Reflect on the project.  Write about the use of patterns, the unique clipping masks, and the different ways that the brushes tools was implemented.  You can also write about the challenges and victories you faced throughout the project,  how you can use this information in future projects. (See prompts below)

4. Update the link to your portfolio and paste the link  into Moodle.

5. Upload the .pdf to Moodle


Reflection Prompts

  • How did you decide on the overall theme or mood of your mandala, and how did your choice of brushes and strokes support that theme?

  • What techniques or tools did you find most effective in creating symmetry and balance in your mandala design?

  • How did experimenting with different brushes and stroke styles add variety and complexity to your mandala?

  • What challenges did you face when using the reflection and multiplication tools, and how did you resolve them?

  • How did you ensure your mandala design was cohesive and visually appealing while incorporating intricate details?

  • If you could modify one element of your mandala, such as the brush type, color scheme, or pattern arrangement, what would it be and why?
