Reflection Prompts

  • How did you choose your reference photo, and what made it a good fit for the low poly style?

  • What strategies did you use to create accurate shapes with the Pen Tool, and how did the Eyedropper Tool help with color selection?

  • How did symmetry or asymmetry in your image affect your design process and final composition?

  • What challenges did you encounter when breaking the image into geometric shapes, and how did you solve them?

  • How did you use the Pathfinder tool to help organize and build your low poly shapes effectively?

  • Looking at your final piece, how do the principles of design—especially shape, balance, and contrast—show up in your work?
