In branding, a style guide is a specialised design document produced by a business which lays out how a particular brand identity should be represented in different contexts. This helps to ensure that a brand or product is represented exactly how it’s parent company wants it to be.

In big businesses like these, branding is vital, so a style guide is extremely important for helping them to keep control of their public-facing identity.
