We are going to use the knowledge of positive and negative space to help us create Simple Vinyl graphics.

Assignment:

Your task is 4 fold:

1. Start by researching different types of vinyl sticker/decals.  Provide a document with examples of designs that you might like to replicate. (5pts)

2.   Create thumbnail sketches for possible decals to create.   A set of 6 small  sketches is required. (You may sketch multiple themes and then choose to design just one of them.) 

3. Create two sticker/decals as vector images in Illustrator. They will be the same image but one will emphasize the positive the other will emphasize the negative.

4. Portfolio - Insert all documentation and imagery into your portfolio.  Reflect on the process.    

5. (Optional) Send the Teacher your Illustrator file If you want the sticker/decal to be cut.
