Directions and Tutorial: Quote Posters
QUOTE Posters
Tutorial and Examples
For this project, you are going to make posters using quotes.
Here is a PowerPoint with some examples of quote posters. You can choose to emulate one of them if you like.
You can also take a look at this Adobe blog post on typographic posters for some more inspiration.
Now that you’ve explored typography and fonts, let’s review this week’s lecture from your tutor Dan Armstrong:

Assignment
You will need to create several different posters. At least one of them should use as the quote a Bible passage or a hymn. The other quotes you can choose yourself. They can from movies, books, songs or something someone said in real life.
Then create a poster that arranges the quote artistically on the page.
Step 1: Research: Start by creating a document with examples that emulates styles you want to pursue. (5pts)
Step 2: If you choose to do simple designs, you should do several posters. If you choose more complex designs, you can do as few as two.
Create your poster as an 11"x17" (tabloid) project in Illustrator. You are creating everything. (No photos of any kind.)
Step 3: Save your finished posters and upload them here.
Step 4: Upload your research and posters to your Adobe Express Page. Reflect on the process.
