ASSIGNMENT

Step 1: Research 5 crests/coat of arms that you would use for inspiration in creating your own mascot.  Create a simple collage in a document and then take a screen shot of your collage for your journal.   Remember to comment why you liked the images you chose.

Step 2:  Create 6 preliminary sketches of possible crests/coat that you might make. Think about the color option for the badge. 

Step 3:  Create the crests/coat in Illustrator.   

Step 4:  Insert pictures of all artifacts (research and sketches) into your portfolio and reflect on the process and project. 

Step 5:  Submit a pdf of your artwork to Moodle.  Remember to include the updated link to your Portfolio. Remember to export the PNG with a transparent background. Post your reflection in your portfolio on what you learned, what was difficult, and what was easy.
