Reflection Prompts:

  • How did the flat design art style influence your choices in shape, color, and composition throughout the project?

  • Which elements of design (e.g., line, shape, color, texture, space) were most important in achieving a cohesive and visually appealing result?

  • What challenges did you encounter when simplifying complex objects or scenes into flat design elements, and how did you address them?

  • How did you use color to create visual hierarchy, balance, or mood in your flat design piece?

  • What role did spacing and alignment play in organizing the elements of your design effectively?

  • If you could improve one aspect of your design to better reflect the flat design style or strengthen the use of design elements, what would it be and why?
