Completion requirements
Opened: Sunday, 5 December 2021, 4:54 PM
Due: Sunday, 19 December 2021, 9:54 PM

Screen printing Tshirts is at an all time high.  Even at FVL there seems to be  a new t-shirt for purchase each month.  In this project you will research  t shirt design and design multiple versions of a t shirt.

You task is 4 fold:

Start by researching different types of t shirt designs.  Provide a document with examples of designs that you might like to replicate. Also research what makes a good t shirt design. Place your information into the same document. (5pts)

You will produce one idea but design it in multiple ways.    Create thumbnails sketches for possible  t shirts to create.   A set of 6 thumbnails sketches is required. (Included at least design that has text and one that does not have text. ) (10 pts)

3. From your top three designs create t shirts as vector images in Illustrator. Make a couple variations on your design, including one that follows the "Big Dot Effect" Tutorial found here.  Include a background that looks like a t shirt.    Submit the files as pdf files. (15pts)

4.  Presentation.      A presentation needs only to last 1 minute yet it should be more than just "I made a t shirt." Pitch your design to us and make us love it. (5pts)

Upload your designs as pdfs and name them the following:

First Initial, Last Name, screen1 (2,3, etc.)
