Create a cartoon strip is not as simple as is seems, however with proper planning you can create a quality comic strip.

STEP 1:

Brainstorm a short story.   Create a list of events or ideas that could make a 3-6 frame comic.

STEP 2: After you select an idea , sketch out the scenario.  In 3-6 frames. (5pts)

STEP 3:  Take the image of one of your characters and make the character in Illustrator.

STEP 4:  Complete the other frame of your comic.

STEP 5: Add speech bubbles as needed.

An example of the steps is provided here

The example shows the procedure and even though the content shifts.

You can challenge yourself to use the Wacom Stylus or just use the tools of Illustrator.

Turn in your completed Comic Strip.

Submit your file as a pdf.   (25pts)

Reflect on the design process. (5pts)
