Logo Project Part 2: Logo Evaluation

You have already searched out several logos from different companies and organizations, some familiar and some obscure. Now you are going to evaluate the logos. Opinions will vary widely on what makes a good logo, but most agree on these few basics:

1. Appropriate - Explain how does it fit the company/organization and what it represents?
2. Memorable - Explain why you can recall it long after seeing it and describe it to someone else?
3. Simple - Explain how it is straight forward, communicating one idea, looks good without color and at any size?
4. Timeless - Explain why it will or will not look "dated" in a few years?

Go back to your logos you submitted and evaluate 2 of them according to the above criteria. Explain how you feel the logo either meets or does not meet each of the criteria.
